This Baked Ziti Recipe creates a Classic and Delicious Italian Meal!
This
baked ziti recipe
is so delicious and always well recieved by family and friends. Make it for dinner, a party or even a potluck and I can assure you that there won't be any leftovers.
1 pound Italian Ground beef Mix

2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes with
basil,garlic and oregano
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
15 ounces ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
16 ounces penne noodles, uncooked
12 ounces (3 cups) shredded mozzarella
cheese (1/3, 2/3 separated)
DIRECTIONS
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Prepare

Reduce heat to medium low and add the crushed tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper. Cook on low for about 30 minutes.
Mix together the meat mixture, ricotta cheese, parsley, parmesan cheese and 1 cup of the mozzarella.
Spray inside of 13” x 9” casserole pan with non stick spray. Place ziti mixture into pan. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. over and bake the ziti in the oven for approximately 45 minutes.
