Easy Homemade Chili
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
1 pound Mexican Ground Beef Mix

2(15 ounce) cans petite diced tomatoes with mild green chilies or jalapenos
1(15 ounce) cans petite diced tomatoes with
basil, garlic, oregano
3 teaspoons chili powder
1 tablespoon Worchester sauce
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Fixings(Optional):
Jarred jalapeno peppers
Cheddar Cheese
Sour cream
Hot sauce
DIRECTIONS
Prepare
Mexican Ground Beef Mix
. Click link for recipe. (If preparing this meat mixture ahead of time, store in the fridge for up to two days or in the freezer for up to 2 months until ready to use. Warm the meat on low in either the microwave or stove top prior to using in this recipe)
On low heat, add all of the remaining ingredients except the beans, cilantro, green onions and fixings and cook for 1 hour.
Stir meat every 10 minutes to prevent from burning. Stir in beans, cilantro and green onions after 50 minutes of cooking time. Cook another 10 minutes.
Serve chili in bowls. Add fixings as desired.
