Easy Pizza Casserole filled with Ground Beef, Pepperoni and Cheese!
This
easy pizza casserole
is full of pasta, ground beef, pepperoni and gooey mozzarella cheese. Serve this comfort food dish with a salad and homemade garlic bread for a complete meal.
Beef and Pepperoni Pizza Casserole
Serves 4-6
INGREDIENTS
1 pound Seasoned Ground Beef Mix

12 ounces linguini
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon garlic
Pinch of salt and pepper
4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons dried Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon dried basil
1(4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
2(24 ounce) jars pasta sauce
with basil, garlic and oregano
8 ounces sliced pepperoni, (divided)
4 cups sredded mozzarella cheese, divided
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Boil pasta until al dente (do not overcook). Drain and place in to bowl. Mix in egg, garlic powder and a pinch of salt and pepper.

according to directions. Click link for recipe. (If preparing this meat mixture ahead of time, store in the fridge for up to two days or in the freezer for up to 2 months until ready to use. Warm the meat on low in either the microwave or stove top prior to using in this recipe)
Stir into the beef mix the Italian seasoning, basil, mushrooms, pasta sauce (all but 1 cup) and parmesan cheese. Simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
Spray a 13x9-inch baking dish with non stick spray. Place 1 cup of the pasta sauce into bottom of dish. Place 1/2 the linguini mixture into baking dish. Top with 1/2 of meat mixture, then 1/2 of mozzarella cheese, then half of pepperoni.
Repeat layers with remaining linguini, meat sauce, cheese and pepperoni.
Top with remaining pepperoni slices.
Bake covered for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes.
Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
