Easy Spaghetti Pie is Simple and Delicious!
This is an
Easy Spaghetti Pie
that will sure to be a hit with your family. You'll love it because it is so easy and quick. Serve with a salad and garlic bread and for a complete meal. Boil extra spaghetti and use leftover noodles anytime to make this easy meal the next night. For a cheesier version of this recipe, try the Cheesy Spaghetti Pie.
Spaghetti Pie
Serves 4-6
INGREDIENTS
8 oz. vermicelli or spaghetti (1/2 package)
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 cup parmesan (divided)
2 eggs, beaten
1 pound Italian Ground Beef Mix

1 (14 ounce)jar favorite tomato pasta sauce
3/4 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup mozzarella cheese
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Stir butter and half of the parmesan into hot vermicelli. Add eggs and stir well.
Spray a pie pan with non tick pan. Spoon spaghetti in to pie plate and use a spoon to shape spaghetti. Cook until set, about 10 minutes.

(If preparing this meat mixture ahead of time, store in the fridge for up to two days or in the freezer for up to 2 months until ready to use. Warm the meat on low in either the microwave or stove top prior to using in this recipe)
Add the tomato pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, pepper and garlic powder and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Spoon meat mixture over the pasta.
Mix the remaining parmesan and mozzarella cheese. Top cheese mix over top of meat and cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake another 10 minutes. Cheese should be bubbly.
*Italian Ground Turkey Mix can be substituted for the Italian Ground Beef Mix.
