Want to make a delciously Cheesy Ground Turkey Manicotti?
This ground turkey manicotti is so easy to prepare. Brown the ground turkey ahead of time to save you time. Just mix with the cheese mixture just prior to baking. Serve with a salad for a complete and balanced meal.
Cheesy Ground Turkey Manicotti
Serves 6
INGREDIENTS
1 pound Seasoned Ground Turkey Mix
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
to taste
14 (8-ounce package) manicotti
1 (15-ounce) container ricotta
3 cups shredded mozzarella
1 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
3 cups favorite jarred marinara sauce
2 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
DIRECTIONS
Boil Manicotti for about 4-5 minutes. Leave the pasta al dente.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Prepare
Seasoned Ground Turkey Mix
. Allow meat to cool slightly. (If frozen, defrost and warm slightly prior to mixing with cheese mixture)
Mix the ricotta, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup Parmesan. Add salt and pepper to taste, and mix. Stir the cooled meat mixture into the cheese mixture.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray inside of 13” x 9” casserole pan with non stick spray. Spoon 1 1/2 cups of the marinara sauce over the bottom of the prepared dish. Fill the manicotti with the cheese meat mixture. Arrange the stuffed pasta in a single layer in the prepared dish and spoon the remaining sauce over.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese, then the remaining 1/2 cup of Parmesan over the stuffed pasta. Dot entire dish with the butter pieces. Bake the manicotti uncovered until heated through and the sauce bubbles on the sides of the dish, about 30 to 35 minutes. Let the manicotti rest 10 minutes before serving.
