1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried basil
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Cook the macaroni according to package directions. drain and set aside.
Using the recipe for
1 pound Italian Ground Beef Mix
, double the recipe so that you can prepare 2 pounds of ground beef.
Add to the meat pan the tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, basil, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Simmer on low for 10 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the macaroni and the beef mixture. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non stick spray and spread the mixture into the baking dish.
Top with the cheddar cheese and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the cheese is lightly browned and bubbly.
