Quick Baked Ziti Recipe any Night of the Week!
This
quick baked ziti
recipe easily doubles to feed a crowd and is also very economical to make. You can also prepare the dish the day before and bake right before serving.
Any Night of the Week Baked Ziti
Serves 6-8
INGREDIENTS
1 pound Italian Ground Beef Mix

2 (26 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
with basil,
>garlic and oregano
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sugar
15 ounces ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
16 ounces penne noodles, uncooked
12 ounces (3 cups) shredded mozzarella
cheese (1/3, 2/3 separated)
DIRECTIONS
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Prepare Italian Ground Beef Mix. Click link for recipe(If preparing this meat mixture ahead of time, store in the fridge for up to two days or in the freezer for up to 2 months until ready to use. Warm the meat on low in either the microwave or stove top prior to using in this recipe)
Reduce heat to medium low and add the spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low for about 30 minutes.
Mix together the meat mixture, ricotta cheese, parsley, parmesan cheese and 1 cup of the mozzarella.
Spray inside of 13” x 9” casserole pan with non stick spray. Place ziti mixture into pan. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cover and bake in oven for approximately 30 minutes.
