All American Turkey Burger Recipe with GREAT Flavor and Less Fat!

Turkey Burger Recipe
includes lots of herbs and spices to bring out the great taste of turkey. Using lean turkey ground meat, this burger has much fewer fat and calories than a ground chuck burger, which can have 5 times the amount of fat.
All American Turkey Burger
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 pounds lean ground turkey
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/8 cup parsley, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon canola oil
4 slices yellow American cheese (optional)
4 Hamburger rolls
Hamburger Fixings:
lettuce, tomato slices, sliced pickles, ketchup
DIRECTIONS
Place turkey in a large bowl and add in garlic powder, onion powder,parsley, salt and pepper. Form meat in to 4 patties and place an indentation in the top center of each patty.
Pan fry the patties in a skillet with 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat for approximately 5-6 minutes. Flip the burgers and cook another 5-6 minutes. Top burgers with cheese and remove once cheese has melted. (Burgers can also be grilled in lieu of pan frying)
Place burgers in rolls. Serve with fixings.
