This Ultimate Chili Recipe will keep you warm on the coldest winter day!!!

This is my ultimate chili recipe ! The beef, pork and other tasty ingredients bring BIG bold flavors that explode in your mouth. I pull out this ultimate chili recipe to prepare whenever I want to serve big comfort food taste on a cold winter's day.



Ultimate Beef and Pork Chili

Serves 6-8

INGREDIENTS

1 pound lean ground beef
1 pound ground pork
1 medium onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomato sauce
2 (28 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
1 cup water
1 (6 ounce can) tomato paste
1/4 cup red wine
3 teaspoons cumin
3 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ancho chili powder
1 teaspoon chipotle powder
2 tablespoons mexican oregano
2 tablespoons Worchester sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
2 (14 ounce) can pinto beans,
1/8 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 cup sliced green onions

Fixings as Desired:

Cheddar Cheese
Sour Cream
Jarred jalapeno peppers
Hot sauce

DIRECTIONS

Sauté the meat, onions, green pepper, and garlic until meat is browned and vegetables soft. Drain meat and return to pan.

Reduce the heat to low and add all of the remaining ingredients except the beans and fixings. Cook on stove top on low for 1 hour. Add the beans and cook another 1/2 hour.

Right before serving, stir in parsley, green onions and cilantro.

Serve chili in bowls. Add fixings as desired.
